It's been awhile

I know it's been awhile since I last posted. Sorry. It's been a little hectic due to holidays and a death in the family! But I did read one book! Unfortunately that's all I had time for.

The book I read was called Rock Star's Girl by J.F. Kristin! Now let me tell you the book was rather refreshing. A definite change for my normal reading.

Although it was a refreshing read. I did feel like I needed more at the end and sometimes during the reading.

About the book: Emily Watts is the main character in the book. She is witty, intelligent, and a total smart ass at times. Someone I definitely relate to and possibly be one of my friends. (possible spoiler alerts to follow) Emily is best friends with a guitarist named Jesse who she has developed more the friends feelings. Unfortunately they are not reciprocated. One night at one of Jesse's gigs she meets Cory a lead singer in a famous band. She brushes him off, he finds that refreshing, and of course the chase begins.

With the celebrity status of the Singer , their relationship goes into a downward spiral. Things get out of hand.

Now this story is pretty fast paced and a good read. However, I felt a little put out without knowing more about the guys side of the story. However, the ending left me wondering what was to come. I'm hoping there is another book to this one.

there is one part that has me kind of irked. The way Emily handle things at the end. I understand hurt more than I care to! But It had me wanting to know more about what happens with Cory and Jesse.

If your looking for a different type of romance reading, where it's not happily ever after and the guys aren't perfect in every way. Then I would definitely recommend this book!  Overall a good read. I had a hard time putting it down.

Another plus side is right now it is only .99 on Amazon.

Oh and I promise to post more from now on. now that things have settled down here.

Her Handyman

I finished this book the other day! Since it is still somewhat fresh in my mind I reviewed it on Amazon. The link to my review is below! It is currently .99. great deal!

I thought that this was a very cute read. The characters insecurities made it to where you could connect with them emotionally. Now I don't really do spoilers cause well I just really don't like to! However, considering this is a Blog, I'll make an exception.

Jake the handyman, also known as "Jake of all trades", is engaged to his childhood sweetheart Angelina. Thought everything was as he wanted. That is until he gets a call from Zoe about an overflowing toilet. Unbeknownst to Jake, his heart and thoughts begin to change. Zoe and Jake connect on a level him and Angelina never have.

Well that's all I am gonna say! Cause otherwise I will give the whole story away! Something that I would hate to do. I definitely recommend this book as a light read. I will definitely looking more from this Author!

Need a fireman to put out the Fire!!!

As of right now I am reading a very smoking hot book called Under His Command by Kristine Cayne!  All I can say is it's a steamy book. Definitely a must read. I haven't quite finished it yet. due to having finals this week. But I know I will probably finish it either tonight or tomorrow night. Once I finish I will post a more in depth review.

Considering this is my first blog post, I am actually going to share it on FB and Twitter. I decided to start this blog for the simple fact. I am a person that always feels like chatting. I don't know that if I will do interviews with authors or spotlight them so to speak yet. Only because right now I need to focus more on school work than blogging.

So to all and any authors I will eventually start spotlighting. Just not to sure when. Plus I have so many authors that I absolutely adore.

Well that's it for now. Have a happy Tuesday!
